Such a creative opening. I love the linear lines and all the graphics used. The animation is captivating and so creative. Since this movie is so mysterious and he goes through so many different stages it really captures that. Transitions are smooth and go great with the music. The transparency of the characters really pulls the viewer in. It is a very long opening for a movie but an unforgettable one at that! I wish I could say I came up with that.
Casino Royale (2006)
Immediately the video grabs my attention. The transition from one scene to another are so slick and just flow greatly. They dont just cut off at each separation or scene but they continue on. I have no idea what this movie is about but I can tell its about gambling and obviously drama because of the gun scopes that are around the cards. The music is very strong and impacting. The type is the least important in this opening. Which the graphics are stronger because you can put the graphics with the music and figure the two out. I wish the graphics would have played more into it though.
Sweeney Todd. I have no idea what this is about but FREAKY.

I like how all this is about is the text. FINALLY. The music goes perfect with this opening and the type really draws the viewer in. The transitions are sharp and fun. It is a very clever idea to write the names of the people involved on cigarette packaging. Its all about being creative.
This makes me just want to see the movie because of this.
Panic Room
Making the type stand out and bounce off buildings. The type look untouchable. Different angles makes the type look great.
Spiderman 2
Ive never seen any of these movies but this makes me want to watch it. Great executive of type and graphics. The comics are a creative idea in the beginning and the music is all about suspense. Illuminating the type is great and the transitions are oh so smooth.

Maybe I'm a dork but I bought Catch Me If You Can because of the opening credits. It's perfect in many, many ways.
