Why was/is the speech important to society? Lyndon B Johnson was addressing the Nation and announcing steps to limit the War in Vietnam and reporting that he was going to seek reelection.
Why do you feel in is important or interesting? I do. In this time period everyone was looking at him for questions.
What is the emotion, mood, tone, personality, feeling of the speech? intense. I feel like he emphasized some odd words when I wouldnt have. I guess that is what makes the world go round.
What is intonation, emphasis, what is loud, stressed, or soft. Where are there pauses... (i posted this in another blog).
What do you FEEL should be loud or soft, long pause or ruhed? he takes a lot of pauses. i want to make sure in my animation that it isnt rushed.
Is there a call to action? When listening to it what are key/emphasized words? he has a ton of emphasized words. i highlighted them in my first post about him.
How does it make you feel? motivated.
How do imagine that the audience felt? Everyone would have been on the edge of their seats because he didnt announce that he wasnt seeking reelection until the very last sentence.
Could there be another interpretation of the speech? yes, the speech is 16 pages long when using 12pt font so depending on what section someone wants to take out could have a completely different feel.
