Graphics Reading 2 1.22.09

I learned a lot from this reading. Whenever marking any object you have to know who you are going to be marketing it to. Who is your audience and why. That is one of the most important things. 

Logos cant make a bad product successful yet a well-designed logo will always help a good product be at its full potential. 

Memories are made up of
1. shape and color
2. position, what is the relevance to me and this time?
3. past info learned to response meaning 
ex. a red light means stop
4. mnemonic value is linked seamlessly with emotional association

With the comics section it was crazy to see symbols and how simple and plain we can make icons and understand them. One that really stands out to me is the page with the dice. You change up the dots on a couple spots and you can make a whole new symbol with a different meaning.
