How good is good? Theo Jansen is GOOOOOOD!

WHOOOAAA accent. That is seriously all I can think about. They have a lot of Tedtalks on youtube...that i have already seen. Stefan Sagmeister talks about being happy designing. He actually is pretty funny. Life is all about happiness. If you arent happy no one will be around you either. 

Theo is amazing. Every single time I see his work it completely memorizes me and I cant think of anything else. I wish I could do something like that. Especially the ones that he puts on the beach. The thought of this plastic creature being able to simply touch water and move in the opposite direction is incredible. I wonder what this will be like in the future. I am sure others are working on this. 

How Good is Good?

A lady came to Hallmark last year and gave a really interesting speech about voting ballots. It was something I would have never in a million years thought about. She said that the voting ballots were so confusing people often mis-voted or didnt understand them enough to vote correctly. 

I found the article online to be very interesting. I didnt know that Francis Hopkinson designed the US flag. Good design + a good cuase = good. which of course makes sense. good design makes the world an easier and more convenient place. with bad design all it brings is confusion. Its not about being new its about having a solid idea.
